Adding well-defined competencies to your Career module can take time, but Teamflect’s built-in AI makes it faster and easier. With AI generation, you can instantly create competency descriptions and expectations that are clear, structured, and ready to use.

This article walks you through how to use the AI feature to generate competency information in Teamflect, helping you build out your competency library with less manual effort and more consistency.

Step-by-Step: Generate Competency Information with AI

Step 1: Navigate to your Competency Library

  1. Log in to the Teamflect Admin Panel

  2. Click on CareerCompetency Library

Step 2: Create or Edit a Competency

  • Click “Add new competency” to create a new one

  • Or click “See/Edit details” to modify an existing competency

Step 3: Use AI Generation

  • Enter a competency name

  • The Generate with AI buttons will activate

  • Click to generate a competency description or expectations

Step 4: Refine Your Results

  • Use Regenerate if you want alternative wording

  • Click Use to keep the generated text

  • If you would like to make changes, you can use the Regenerate button to generate new results.

  • If you are happy with your text, you can use the Use button to keep your changes.

Step 5: Finalize and Save

  • Once satisfied, click Save

  • The competency is now ready to assign to a job title

  • Once you have all the necessary information attached to your competency, you can use the Save button to save your competency. Congratulations! You can now add it to a job title and start making use of it.
