In Teamflect, review status helps track the stage of a performance review, such as Waiting for self‑review, Waiting for finalization, or Finalized. Updating the status reflects real‑time progress, keeps participants informed, and ensures the review flows smoothly through each stage as intended.
Admins can adjust statuses to handle scenarios such as sending reviews back for re-submission, moving reviews to calibration, or finalizing reviews when appropriate.
This guide explains how to change a review’s status, when you might want to update it, and what each status means — so your performance process remains transparent, organized, and easy to manage from start to finish.
Steps to Change the Status of a Review
Step 1: Navigate to the Reviews Module
Log in to the Admin Center and go to the Reviews module.
Step 2: Access Review Cycles
Click Review Cycles to see all existing cycles.
Step 3: Select a Review Cycle
Open the cycle you want to manage, then go to See/Update Reviews. Here you’ll find a list of reviews with their current statuses.
Step 4: Edit a Review Status
Click the pen icon next to the status you’d like to change.
Use the dropdown menu to select the new status:
Waiting for self-review
Waiting for reviewer
Waiting for calibration
Waiting for signature
Waiting for finalization
Finalized
Step 5: Confirm Changes
Click Confirm to save. The review status will update immediately.
HR Use Cases
1. Correcting Errors
If an employee or reviewer mistakenly completed a review step, admins can reset the status (e.g., back to Waiting for self-review) so it can be redone properly.
2. Supporting Calibration
Admins can move reviews into Waiting for calibration to ensure leadership and HR review ratings for consistency before finalization.
3. Accelerating Finalization
When deadlines approach, admins can move reviews directly to Finalized or Waiting for signature to keep cycles on track.
Final Thoughts
Review status management gives admins flexibility and control over the review process. Instead of waiting for support, admins can independently correct errors, keep cycles moving, and ensure review workflows run smoothly from start to finish.
