Teamflect’s Help Beacon gives users quick access to support resources and help articles directly within the platform. However, administrators can choose whether to display or hide this feature to better align with their organization’s needs and user experience.

This article walks you through how to manage the visibility of the Help Beacon in Teamflect, so you can control how users access support and keep your interface as streamlined as needed.

Customizing the Help Beacon Visibility for End Users in Teamflect

Step 1

To edit this setting, click on the "Admin Center" button in the top-right side menu of Teamflect.

Step 2

Click on the "General settings" section.

Step 3

You can find the “Display Help Beacon (?)” panel in the “General Settings” section.

Step 4

Choose one of the two display options for the Help Beacon:

  • Show Help Beacon: Displays both Help Articles and Support buttons.

  • Hide Help Beacon: The beacon won’t be shown to end users at all.

⚠️ Note: These settings only apply to end users. The beacon will remain visible in the Admin Panel regardless of the setting.

Benefical Use Cases

  1. Simplify User Interface for New Joiners: Hide the help beacon to avoid overwhelming users during onboarding.

  2. Direct Support-Only Workflow: Limit access to support channels only, including help articles, for more guided issue resolution.
