Requesting feedback—whether for yourself or on behalf of a team member—is a powerful way to promote growth, alignment, and transparency. In Teamflect, feedback requests are handled with care to ensure privacy, clarity, and the right level of visibility.

This article explains exactly what happens after you send a feedback request, who can view the responses, and how visibility differs depending on whether you're asking for yourself or for someone on your team.

Feedback Notifications & Access:

When you request feedback in Teamflect—either for yourself or for someone on your team—here’s what happens:

When the feedback is submitted, you will receive two more notifications via email and Microsoft Teams. You, your manager, your skip-level manager, and Teamflect administrators will have access to all the feedback you have received.

Beneficial Use Cases

1. Personal Development Check-Ins
Ask for feedback periodically to track growth, address blind spots, and show initiative in your development journey.

2. Performance Review Preparation
Managers can gather feedback on team members in advance to build a well-rounded review—without alerting the employee directly.

3. Leadership Insight Gathering
Skip-level managers or admins can collect feedback to inform talent development, mentorship, or promotion discussions.
