How can I make everyone's shared notes about a direct report visible to the manager of the user?

Admins can enable manager access to all user notes in Teamflect via Admin Center > Notes tab > 'Allow user's managers to access all user notes'.

If you are a Teamflect administrator, you can make every user's notes about another user visible to the manager of the user for whom the note has been taken.

Note: When this feature is activated, private notes are not visible to managers.

Step 1

To enable this feature, click on the "Admin Center" button in the left-side menu of Teamflect.

Step 2

Find "Modules" on the left navigation bar and click the "Notes" tab.

Step 3

Here you can see the "Allow user's managers to direct reports' notes" button.

Selecting "Public notes" will make sure to display the public notes of the direct report. If you select "Public & Private", the manager will be able to see both public and the private notes of the direct report. However, if you select "None", the managers will not be able to see any note of the direct report.

Step 4

If you select "Public and Private" on, when the managers in the company click on the notes related to a person, they will see a button on the left that says "include other people’s notes about {{user name}}." If you check this box, people managers can see the ''shared'' notes other people have taken about their direct reports.
