Teamflect offers a comprehensive software platform tailored to enhance team management and foster collaboration. Within Teamflect, people managers are equipped with a range of tools and resources aimed at facilitating seamless team coordination and efficiency.
The extent of visibility granted to managers is contingent upon a setting within the admin center, which allows for the customization of access levels. Specifically, Teamflect admins have the option to enable or disable access to the private data of their direct reports, providing greater flexibility and control over information management within the platform.

You may want to prevent managers in your company from accessing the private data of their direct reports. If you disable managers' access, managers cannot access private data of direct reports like private recognitions, feedback, and private goals. To disable managers' access to the private data of their direct reports.
Step 1
Click on the "Admin Center" button in the top-right corner of Teamflect.
Step 2
Then find the “General settings” and click on it.
Step 3
Here you can see the "Disable managers' access to the private data of their direct reports" button. If you turn this button on, managers cannot access the private data of direct reports.
See this article for more details on visibility rights based on management hierarchy.
Use Cases:
Use Case 1: Privacy preservation for sensitive data
If your organization needs to safeguard sensitive information like private feedback, goals, or recognitions, you can use this setting to ensure managers don’t see data that their direct reports marked as private. Turning it on prevents visibility into private goals, private feedback, and private recognitions.
Use Case 2: Selective transparency with role control
Even with managers’ private access disabled, they still retain visibility over public data (e.g., shared notes, reviews, tasks, profile). This allows you to maintain necessary transparency while protecting personal or confidential employee information.
Use Case 3: Simplified policy enforcement
HR or system admins can enable this in Admin Center → General settings by toggling “Disable managers' access to the private data of their direct reports.” This centralized switch makes it easier to enforce privacy policy rules across the organization without needing to adjust each manager’s settings individually.
