How Teamflect Recognition Notifications and Visibility Work

Make Recognition Meaningful, Visible, and Rewarding in Teamflect

Teamflect’s recognition system is designed to strengthen employee engagement by making appreciation visible, personalized, and tied to real rewards. Whether you’re sending a birthday message or acknowledging outstanding work, each recognition is structured to foster connection and motivation.

📬 Who Gets Notified?

When you send a recognition through Teamflect:

  • ✅ The recipient receives a notification

  • ✅ The recipient’s manager also receives a notification

  • 📩 Notifications are sent via both Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams

Where Recognitions Appear

  • Non-private recognitions are listed under the “Company” tab in the Recognitions module.

  • Recognitions are grouped alongside others shared within your organization.

  • If your Teamflect admin has enabled it, recognitions can also be automatically posted to a Microsoft Teams channel.

  • People managers can see their direct reports' recognitions and the recognitions leaderboard on the Home page in the ''My Team'' tab.

Want to see anniversary and birthday recognitions too? Just check the relevant box to display them in your company feed.

If you want your Teamflect administrator to connect Teamflect recognitions to a Microsoft Teams channel of your choice, please share this with them.

Recognition Points & Leaderboard

Each recognition badge may be assigned a point value, which:

  • Adds to the recipient’s Recognition Score

  • Displays in the Leaderboard View

  • Encourages healthy peer-to-peer competition

This visibility helps drive consistent appreciation and builds morale across teams.

Redeem Points for Rewards

Recognition points aren’t just symbolic—they’re redeemable!

  • Users can visit the My Rewards page to browse available rewards.

  • Points earned from recognitions can be exchanged for gifts, vouchers, and custom rewards set by your admin.

This makes recognition actionable and motivating, turning appreciation into tangible outcomes.
