Send Discreet and Impactful Recognitions with Privacy Controls

Teamflect allows users to send private recognitions—a valuable feature when acknowledgments involve sensitive information or when discretion is preferred.

Who Can See a Private Recognition?

When a recognition is marked as private, it will only be visible to:

✅ The sender of the recognition

✅ The recipient

✅ The manager of the recipient

✅ The skip-level manager of the recipient

Teamflect administrators

🔒 Note: If you do not see the private recognition option, it may have been disabled by your Teamflect administrators for your organization.

Use Cases for Private Recognitions

  1. Confidential Project Contributions
Recognize efforts tied to internal initiatives, executive-level tasks, or strategic projects that should remain private.

  2. Performance Improvement Acknowledgment
Use private recognitions to reinforce positive behavior change without creating unnecessary visibility.

  3. Sensitive Peer Support
Acknowledge emotional intelligence, behind-the-scenes teamwork, or support during challenging times without putting someone in the spotlight.

Private recognitions help maintain respectful boundaries while still reinforcing a culture of appreciation. They ensure the right people see the recognition—while others don’t.
