End-User Guide: How to send a new recognition in Teamflect?

Learn how to send a recognition in Teamflect in a few simple steps.

Recognitions in Teamflect allows you to acknowledge and celebrate your colleagues’ achievements, contributions, and milestones. Sending a recognition badge helps reinforce a positive work culture and keeps team members motivated and engaged.

By following the steps below, you will be able to send a recognition to a colleague, select a badge, and choose whether to make it public or private.


How to Send a New Recognition

Step 1: Navigate to the Recognitions Module

  • On your Teamflect homepage, go to the left-side panel

  • Click on Recognitions

  • Select New Recognition

Step 2: Fill Out Recognition Details

  • In the To field, search for and select the recipient

  • Choose a badge that best represents the recognition

  • Enter your message in the recognition text box

You may also choose to send the recognition as a private recognition.

  • Private recognitions are visible only to:

    • The recipient

    • Their managerial hierarchy

    • Your organization’s Teamflect administrators

Once all details are completed, click Send Recognition


Use Cases

  • Employee Appreciation: Recognize employees for outstanding performance or contributions to team goals

  • Values Reinforcement: Highlight behaviors that align with company values using badges.

  • Milestone Celebrations: Acknowledge work anniversaries, promotions, or project completions.


Best Practice

Keep your recognition messages specific and meaningful. Clearly state what the individual did and why it made an impact. This increases engagement and reinforces positive behaviors across the organization.
