Teamflect allows you to send recognition directly through your Microsoft Teams chats and channels, so you never miss a moment to appreciate someone, even mid-conversation. This seamless feature helps reinforce a culture of real-time recognition and gratitude.

Celebrate Colleagues Instantly Within Teams Conversations

Step 1: Open a Teams Chat or Channel

In Microsoft Teams, go to any 1:1 chat, group chat, or channel where you want to send a recognition.

Step 2: Use the Message Toolbar

  1. Look for the Teamflect icon under the message box.

  2. Click on it to open the recognition menu.

  3. Then click the three dots (...) and select "New Teamflect Recognition."

Step 3: Fill Out the Recognition

Complete the form as you would in the Teamflect app (select recipient, badge, message, and optionally set it to private).

Click "Send Recognition."

Step 4: Share in the Chat

Once the recognition is created, Teamflect notifies the relevant parties.

To share it in the Teams chat:

  • Just press Enter to post it

  • The recognition card will appear directly in the chat, visible to everyone in that conversation

Which will look like the below screenshot:

Why Teams-Based Recognition Matters

  1. Encouraging Real-Time Gratitude
Team leads and peers can recognize wins immediately—no need to switch tools or delay appreciation.

  2. Driving Engagement in Cross-Functional Teams
Employees collaborating in shared channels can recognize contributions publicly, even across departments.

  3. Boosting Culture in Remote Environments
Remote or hybrid teams benefit from visible, chat-based recognitions that mimic “in-office” praise moments.
