In modules like Goals and Reviews, Teamflect often refers to quarters (e.g., Q1, Q2). If your company’s fiscal year starts in a month other than January - like July- this default setting can confuse end users when creating or reviewing quarterly goals and cycles.

You can set your own customized goal periods. Learn how here.

To ensure consistent and accurate naming, Teamflect allows you to set your organization's fiscal year start month in the Admin Center at https://admin.teamflect.com/#/settings/generalsettings.

Aligning Teamflect with Your Organization’s Fiscal Calendar

Step 1

Find "General settings" on the left navigation bar and click it.

Step 2

Locate the option labeled "Fiscal year starting month" and select your desired month from the dropdown.

📝 Note: Changing this setting will not affect any previously created goals or review cycles—it will only apply to new ones.

Use Cases

  1. Quarterly Review Planning: Ensure review cycles are named accurately based on your organization’s actual fiscal calendar.

  2. Performance Goal Tracking: Help managers and employees align objectives with the fiscal reporting period.

  3. Strategic Reporting: Align performance data and analytics with internal business timelines for executive reporting.
