At Teamflect, our goal is to make 1-on-1s more effective, intentional, and development-focused. To support this, helpful tips and resources are displayed on the left side of the 1-on-1 meeting page and are visible to both participants. These contextual reminders guide managers and employees throughout their conversations with prompts, reflection points, and relevant resources.

How to Customize Tips & Resources (Admin Access Required)

Step 1

  1. On the left-hand menu, click Modules

  2. Select the Meetings module

  3. Click on "Configure Tips and Resources"

Step 2:

You’ll see a list of default tips and resources preloaded by Teamflect. You can:

  • Edit or delete existing ones

  • Add new custom entries that reflect your company’s policies or coaching frameworks

Step 3:

Click Edit or Add New Template, then enter:

  • A short, practical title

  • A brief description or link (for resources)

You can add up to 5 custom tips and 5 custom resources per meeting template.

Once added, users will be able to choose from these tips and resources when preparing for or conducting their 1-on-1 meetings. This gives them easy access to relevant prompts or materials within the meeting environment.

HR-Focused Use Cases

1. Reinforce Coaching Culture

Add reminders based on your internal feedback or coaching models (e.g., "Use SBI method", "Ask career-focused questions").

2. Support Manager Development

Include mini checklists or guides to help new managers run more structured, productive 1-on-1s.

3. Link to Key People Resources

Embed links to your HR handbook, learning portal, development plan guide, or DEI content.

Final Thoughts

The “Tips and Resources” panel in Teamflect is a low-effort, high-impact way to embed your organization’s best practices directly inside meetings — where they matter most. Customizing this area ensures every 1-on-1 conversation reflects your company’s values, improves conversation quality, and enables more consistent leadership behavior across teams.
