Overview

Teamflect’s Adaptive Surveys feature allows participants to complete surveys directly in Teams chats or emails, without needing to open a separate page. By enabling this option, you simplify the feedback process, increase participation, and integrate surveys seamlessly into your organization’s existing communication flow.

Step-by-Step: Enable Adaptive Surveys

  1. Log in to the Teamflect Admin Center.

  2. Navigate to the survey template you wish to make adaptive or create a new one.

  3. In the "Survey Questions" section, you will find an option to make the survey adaptive. Check the box to enable this feature.

Important Considerations

To ensure optimal functionality and a seamless survey experience, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

  1. Survey Length

Adaptive surveys are designed for surveys with up to 10 questions. Keeping your survey concise and focused allows participants to provide feedback quickly and with minimal effort.

  2. Question Types

To enable the Adaptive Surveys feature, remove Likert scale and ranking questions from your survey template. If these question types are included, the feature cannot be activated. This ensures compatibility and seamless delivery within chats and emails.

Guidelines for Survey Participants

When filling out surveys within Teams chats and emails, please follow these guidelines for a smooth experience:

Saving Your Answers

The Adaptive Surveys feature does not auto-save responses. Therefore, remember to press the "Submit" button to save your answers. If you navigate away from the survey without submitting it, your responses will not be recorded.

HR Use Cases

  1. Quick Pulse Surveys: Run short engagement checks in Teams without redirecting employees away from their workflow.

  2. Training Feedback: Send adaptive surveys by email right after sessions to capture immediate impressions.

  3. Change Management: Use adaptive surveys to gather quick feedback on new company initiatives via Teams or email.

Final Thoughts

Enabling Adaptive Surveys helps HR teams capture feedback more efficiently by meeting employees where they already are — Teams and email. With shorter surveys and compatible question types, you’ll boost response rates and make the process easier for everyone.
