In Teamflect, you can allow reviewers to invite additional participants to provide overall comments on a review. This enriches the process by including perspectives from other relevant stakeholders.
To use this feature, administrators must first enable it in the review template settings.
Configure the Review Template (Admin Setup)
Go to the Admin Center and open the review template you want to edit.
In the Review Result Section step, enable the option:
“Enable inviting people other than review participants for comments.”
2. (Optional) Enable Private Comments for collaborators. This allows collaborators to:
Share overall comments visible to both the reviewer and reviewee.
Add private comments visible only to the reviewer and administrators.
Once this option is enabled, reviewers will be able to invite additional participants during the review process.
Steps for Reviewers to Invite Additional Commenters
Step 1 – Locate the review

Step 2 – Scroll to the results section
On the review page, scroll down to the Review Results section.
Step 3 – Invite participants

📌 Note: This action cannot be undone.
Here’s what an invited participant can see and do in the review:
Receive a notification about the invitation to collaborate
View the review content
Add comments with a chosen visibility level (shared with reviewee or private to reviewer/Admins)
Save and submit their comments
Use Cases
Enhancing cross-functional feedback
Involving colleagues from other departments provides well-rounded insights, especially for employees who contribute to cross-team projects.Supporting dual-reporting structures
For employees with multiple managers, inviting a secondary reviewer ensures that all supervisory perspectives are represented, improving fairness and accuracy.Providing developmental feedback for high-potential employees
Mentors or senior leaders can be invited to contribute targeted feedback that supports career growth and succession planning.
Best Practice
Use this feature selectively — inviting too many additional reviewers can overwhelm the process. Limit invitations to individuals who can provide meaningful, actionable feedback (e.g., cross-functional project leads, dual managers, or mentors).
