What is the Teamflect AI Agent?

Teamflect AI Agent is your organization’s intelligent assistant: built to help employees write better goals, summarize insights, create meaningful feedback, and more, all within the Teamflect app.

Once enabled, employees can access it in two ways:

  • Inside the Teamflect app, via the “Ask AI” button on the right-hand side

  • Directly through Microsoft Copilot, by adding Teamflect Agent as a plugin

From there, users can chat with Teamflect AI to get context-aware help and tailored suggestions powered by your company’s internal content.

  • The Teamflect Chatbot in Microsoft Teams

In Microsoft Teams, open the Teamflect Chatbot or the Chat tab within Teamflect and simply start typing your question or request.

  • Remind me how to request feedback in Teamflect.

AI responses appear instantly: you can copy, refine, or use them directly in your workflow.

How to Enable the Teamflect AI Agent

To enable the AI Agent:

  1. Go to Admin Center → Settings → Teamflect AI.

  2. Toggle Enable AI Agent on.

  3. Once enabled, the “Ask AI” button will appear for the users you grant access to.

This setting can be turned on or off at any time.

Managing Access to Teamflect AI

Admins have full control over who can use the AI Agent. You can choose to enable access for:

All users across your organization

🎯 Selected users individually

👥 Specific Microsoft Teams Groups

🧩 Filtered users based on account attributes such as:

  • Department

  • Job title

  • Managerial role

  • Location

  • Custom attributes imported manually and from Microsoft 365 or HRIS

This flexible configuration ensures that only relevant audiences, for example, managers, HR team members, or leadership, can access the AI if that’s preferred.

Notifying Users About AI Agent Enablement

You can optionally notify users once the Teamflect AI Agent is enabled for them.

  • Toggle on ''Notify selected users'' and write a short personalized message.

Example message:

''Hi everyone 👋 We’ve just enabled Teamflect AI to make your experience even smoother! Use the ‘Ask AI’ button to get help writing goals, summarizing reviews, creating recognition messages, and ask company or policy-related questions.''

Use Cases

  • Manager enablement: Help managers write SMART goals and feedback messages faster.
