Teamflect AI helps streamline goal creation, performance reviews, feedback, and other HR workflows. Admins can control which AI-powered features are available to users from the Teamflect AI settings in the Admin Center.
Note: Teamflect's AI Agent has its own dedicated settings page. For AI Agent enablement, user access, notifications, and Agent skills, see Teamflect AI Agent for Admins (Setup & Access Management).
Teamflect AI settings
General AI settings are managed from: Admin Center → Settings → Teamflect AI. The page contains a Master AI toggle and settings grouped into three main categories.
1. AI Writing Assistance
These settings control whether users can use Enhance with AI to improve open-ended responses. You can enable or disable AI writing assistance for:
Reviews — enhances open-ended review answers.
Surveys — enhances open-ended survey answers.
Feedback — enhances open-ended feedback answers.
Individual Development Plans — enhances open-ended IDP answers. This feature is available on the Professional plan.
Succession Plans — enhances open-ended succession plan answers. This feature is available on the Professional plan.
2. AI-Generated Content
These settings control whether Teamflect can generate content using AI. Available settings include:
AI-generated goal descriptions — helps create descriptions for goals.
AI-generated role information — generates role information in the Career module.
AI-generated competency information — generates competency information in the Career module.
AI-generated goals for the upcoming period in Reviews — helps create goals for the next review period.
3. AI Summaries
These settings control AI-generated summaries and insights across Teamflect.
You can enable or disable:
AI-generated profile summaries
AI-generated summaries in 360-degree feedback templates
AI summaries in feedback
AI-generated reports and summaries in surveys
AI-generated insights in reviews
Teamflec AI toggle
The Teamflect AI toggle controls AI features across your organization. When the AI toggle is disabled:
All AI sub-settings become inactive and appear turned off.
Existing sub-setting preferences are remembered.
If the Master AI toggle is enabled again, the previous preferences are restored.
Related AI controls show that the feature has been disabled by the organization.
Disabling the Master AI toggle requires confirmation in a dialog.
Individual feature settings can also be switched off. When a sub-setting is disabled, the corresponding AI feature is disabled in the relevant module or templates. Some template-specific AI settings may be locked until the feature is re-enabled from the main AI settings page.
Who can manage AI settings?
Access to the Teamflect AI settings depends on the administrator's role:

Teamflect AI Agent
The Teamflect AI Agent is managed separately from the general AI settings described above.
Admins can configure the AI Agent from: Admin Center → Teamflect AI → AI Agent.
From there, admins can:
Enable or disable the AI Agent.
Choose which users can access it.
Give access to everyone except guests, selected users, or users matching specific attributes such as department, manager role, location, or custom attributes.
Notify selected users when the Agent becomes available.
Review the Agent skills available to users.
The AI Agent can be accessed through Teamflect, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Copilot. Available Agent skills include Policy Assistant, Teamflect Helper, and Recognition Assistant.

AI plans and availability
Some AI features are plan-specific. Features marked as Professional-only are available with the Professional plan and can be trialed during the Professional trial period.
The AI Agent itself is available across Teamflect plans, although usage limits vary by plan.
