Our latest update includes the "See Team Insights" feature, designed to enhance managers' and admins' ability to analyze team performance through review ratings. This new feature is accessible within the Reviews module, specifically under the My Team and All Reviews tabs.

How It Works

The feature allows admins and managers to select reviewers within an active review cycle to compare their teams' ratings directly. This streamlined approach provides a clear, comprehensive view of each reviewer’s average ratings, enhancing transparency and accountability.

Accessing the review team insights

To use this feature:

  1. Go to the Reviews module.

  2. Select either the My Team or All Reviews tab.

  3. Choose an active review cycle to view more details.

On the right-hand side of the page, you'll find the "See team insights" button. Clicking this button will display insights for reviews that are ''finalized.''

Review Insight Options

Upon clicking "See team insights," a pop-up will appear, showing a list of reviewers in the current cycle. You can select a reviewer directly or use the search bar to find a specific person. Then, click "View team insights" to proceed to the Review Insights page for the selected cycle.

Note: If the "View team insights" button is greyed out, it indicates that there are insufficient finalized reviews to generate insights.

Review Insights Page Features

  1. AI Summary: The top of the page includes an option to generate an AI-driven summary of review insights to see a quick summary of the selected reviewer's team's performance in the cycle.

  2. Ratings

  3. 9-Box Evaluations

  4. Custom Criteria

Beneficial Use Cases

  • The "See Team Insights" feature provides several practical applications for HR professionals (Teamflect Admins) and people managers (Head of Departments, VPs, CEOs, etc.). For instance, it allows for performance benchmarking across departments or teams, helping to identify both high performers and areas that may require improvement. This data can also inform targeted training programs by revealing common skills gaps, allowing HR to develop specific interventions and managers to customize development plans for their team members.

  • Moreover, this feature supports succession planning by identifying potential leaders based on their performance metrics, making it easier to prepare them for future roles. It also enhances accountability and transparency within the organization, as all team members can see how their performance is evaluated clearly and fairly. Managers find this particularly useful for setting expectations and fostering a culture of open communication about performance standards.

  • Additionally, the insights gained can improve review processes by providing feedback on their effectiveness and fairness, which helps HR refine these processes over time. Strategic decisions, such as workforce planning and resource allocation for raises or bonuses, also become more data-driven, leading to more justified and equitable decisions.

  • Finally, the tool offers a way to assess the overall health of the organizational culture. By understanding team dynamics and individual performance, both HR and people managers can better address cultural misalignments and enhance overall morale and productivity. This holistic view provided by the "See Team Insights" feature makes it an invaluable tool for driving organizational success and employee satisfaction.
