This feature allows reviewers to start their employee evaluations even before the reviewees (employees) have submitted their self-reviews, significantly enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of the review process.
Here's a short and silent video for you to get the best out of this feature:
How to Use This Feature
1. Access the Review Module
Navigate to the 'reviews about my team' tab within the review module to find the reviews you are assigned to as a reviewer.
2. Begin Your Review Early
Click ''See reviews'' and locate the ones that are "waiting for self-review."
Click "see review" for the review you'd like to draft.
You can start filling out your review responses even if the reviewee has yet to submit their self-review.
3. Save as Draft (Automatically saved)
Your inputs are automatically saved as drafts, allowing you to pause and resume your review at any time.
4. Final Submission
You will receive a notification once the reviewee submits their self-review. You can then submit your review as the reviewer.
Key Points
Early Interaction
Reviewers are no longer constrained by the submission of self-reviews before beginning their assessments. This allows for an immediate start, facilitating a more proactive approach to the review process.
Draft Saving
All inputs by reviewers are automatically saved as drafts. This feature ensures that reviewers can begin their evaluations early, save their progress, and return to complete their inputs at a convenient time without the risk of data loss.
Simultaneous Process
The update promotes a dynamic review environment where both reviewers and reviewees can work on their respective parts concurrently. This simultaneous process not only streamlines the timeline but also enhances interaction between all parties involved.
Submission Dependencies
While reviewers can start their assessments early, the final submission of their reviews is still dependent on the submission of the self-review by the reviewee. This ensures the review process remains structured and thorough, maintaining its integrity.
