Admins can adjust due dates in Teamflect review cycles to keep things on track—even when timelines shift. You can update deadlines for reviewees, reviewers, feedback submissions, and finalization—all with a few clicks.

📌 Note: Missing a review due date does not prevent reviewers from completing or submitting the review. Reviews can still be answered and submitted after the due date. The due date is used for tracking and reporting purposes, and reviews submitted after this date will appear as overdue in reports.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access the Admin Center

    • Log in to your Teamflect account.

    • From the dashboard, navigate to the Admin Center located in the main menu.

    • Open Reviews

  2. Select the Review Cycles Section

    • Once in the Admin Center, find and click on the Review Cycles option in the side menu. This will display all the active and past review cycles.

  3. Edit the Review Cycle

    • Find the specific review cycle for which you want to extend due dates.

    • Click on the Edit button next to that cycle to access the cycle’s settings.

  4. Update Review Due Dates

In the Edit Cycle page, you'll have the option to adjust the following due dates:

    • Reviewee's Due Date: This is the deadline by which the Reviewee must complete their self-assessment or input for the review process.

    • Reviewer's Due Date: The date by which the Reviewer (usually a manager or peer) must complete the review for the Reviewee.

    • Feedback Submission Deadline: The deadline for any additional feedback providers (such as 360-degree reviewers) to submit their feedback.

    • Finalization Due Date: The final deadline for all reviews and feedback to be completed, ensuring the cycle is fully closed.

Simply click on each date field and select the new due dates from the calendar.

  5. Save the Changes

    • Once all dates have been updated, click the Update button to apply the changes. This will extend the deadlines across the cycle for all relevant participants.

📌Note: You cannot change the due dates for a few individuals. When you edit the due dates, all the participants in a review cycle will be affected by these changes, even the ones who submitted theirs on time.

Use Cases

  • Adjust for Schedule Shifts: Extend deadlines when business priorities change or key stakeholders are out.

  • Manage Time Zone Gaps: For distributed teams abroad, provide extra time to accommodate off-hours or low availability.

  • Boost Completion Rates: Keep momentum in a slow-moving cycle by extending due dates close to the deadline.

  • Ensure Thorough Review: Allow extra time post-review for detailed reviewer feedback or calibration steps.

Best Practice

Recommendation: Communicate all extended dates clearly to reviewers, reviewees, and stakeholders. Too many changes can confuse participants—send a quick in-app or email notification summarizing the updates.
