Gathering input from peers can provide valuable insights and make your performance reviews more comprehensive. In Teamflect, you can easily send feedback requests to colleagues directly from your review, helping you collect diverse perspectives and ensure your evaluation reflects a well-rounded view.
This guide walks you through the steps to request peer feedback efficiently, so you can gather meaningful input and complete your review with confidence.
Step 1: Open Your Review
Log in to your Teamflect account and navigate to the "Reviews About Me" tab. This section contains all the reviews directed toward you, including past reviews and those currently in progress. Find the review and click on it.
Step 2: Locate the "Feedback" Section
Within your specific review, scroll to find the "Feedback" section. This part of your review is dedicated to managing and requesting new feedback that is pertinent to the review cycle you are currently undergoing.
Step 3: Initiate a Feedback Request
Click the "Ask for Feedback" button within the "Feedback" section. This action will open a new interface where you can select whom to request feedback from.
Step 4: Select Your Peer(s)
In the interface that appears, you will be prompted to type the name or email address of the peer(s) from whom you wish to request feedback. Teamflect’s smart search will help you quickly find the right individuals by suggesting names as you type.
Step 5: Provide Context (Optional)
It is often helpful to provide a note or context with your feedback request. This step is optional but recommended, as it helps your peers understand why you are seeking their feedback and what specific areas or projects you might want them to focus on. Providing context makes the feedback more targeted and relevant, which can be more useful for your professional development.
Step 6: Send the Feedback Request
After selecting your peers and adding any necessary notes, click the "Send Feedback Request" button. This will dispatch your request to the selected colleagues. They will receive a notification via their Teamflect and Teams account, and possibly an email, prompting them to provide feedback.
Sending feedback requests through Teamflect is a straightforward process that facilitates effective communication and collaboration among team members. By following these steps, you can ensure that you receive insightful and constructive feedback that is directly relevant to your professional growth.
Remember to follow up respectfully if necessary and to express your appreciation to peers who take the time to help you in your development journey.
