Providing timely and constructive peer feedback is a crucial part of the review cycle in Teamflect. This process not only helps in the professional development of your colleagues but also enhances the overall productivity and morale of the team. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to navigate the Teamflect platform to give peer feedback effectively during a review cycle.

Step 1: Receive a Feedback Request

Before you can provide feedback, you must first receive a "feedback request." This request can be sent by Teamflect admins, the employee's manager, or the employee themselves. Look for this request either in your email notifications or directly within the Teamflect app by clicking on the ''bell icon'' located on the Home page of the app.

Step 2: Access the Feedback Module

Once you receive a feedback request, log into your Teamflect account. You can visit the feedback module directly, or you can look for a notification that might have been sent to you. These notifications are designed to alert you promptly when your input is needed.

Step 3: Navigate to the "Given" Tab

In the feedback module, locate the "Given" tab. This section helps you manage and track the feedback you are providing to others. It ensures that you keep a record of what has been sent and what still needs attention.

Step 4: Group Feedback by "Status"

For better organization, group feedback by "status." This quick tip will allow you to see which feedback is pending, in progress, or completed. Organizing feedback by status helps in prioritizing responses and ensures that no request is left behind.

Step 5: Respond to "Pending" Requests

In the grouped feedback, find those marked as "Pending." These are the ones that require your action. Click on "Provide" next to the pending request to start giving your feedback. It's important to address these requests promptly to keep the review cycle moving smoothly and to provide timely insights that your peers can learn from.

Step 6: Complete the Feedback Form

Within the feedback form, make sure to answer all the required questions. Your responses should be constructive, aiming to provide meaningful insights that can support your peer’s development. Be thorough and thoughtful with your feedback, focusing on specific behaviors or events that can illustrate your points clearly.

Note: You may also check the visibility of the feedback you'll give to your peer by referring to the ''visibility'' section on the right side of the feedback card.

Final Step: Submit Your Feedback

After filling out the feedback form, review your responses to ensure they are complete and provide the intended value. Once you are satisfied with your input, click "Submit" to send your feedback. Submitting your feedback completes the process and you won't be able to edit your responses.

By following these steps, you can effectively contribute to your team's development through thoughtful and structured feedback. Remember, the goal of peer feedback in Teamflect is not only to evaluate but also to uplift and assist in each other's professional journey.
