When implementing Goal Creation within your Reviews, it is possible to adjust and restrict which goal types will be available to your users for assignment.

To do so while editing an existing Review template or creating a new one, please navigate to the Goal Creation section of your Review template.

Once inside the section, please ensure that the Development plan toggle is active. When the toggle is active, you will be able to find the relevant setting near the bottom, where you will be able to select goal types that reviewees can create for their development plan:

To make your choices, all you need to do is to check the goal types you would like to be available to your users:

Use Cases:

  • Activate the Development Plan section – Turn on this feature in review templates to guide structured employee growth.

  • Limit available goal types – Restrict options to ensure plans align with organizational priorities and expectations.

  • Promote consistent goal-setting – Encourage a standardized approach to development that supports company-wide performance goals.
