In Teamflect, you can assign country- or location-specific access, in addition to department-specific permissions, to enhance administrative control and facilitate efficient management. This feature enables a more targeted and localized approach to overseeing operations, ensuring effective supervision at various geographical levels.

Follow these steps to grant country- or location-specific access to the Scoped Admins and Report Readers in Teamflect:

Step 1

Access the admin center at https://admin.teamflect.com and navigate to the 'Active Users' section.

Step 2

Locate the relevant user's 'role' column and click the pen icon

Step 3

Choose either the 'Scoped Administrator' or 'Report reader' role

Next, from the 'Access Type' dropdown list, select the desired attribute: Department, Country, or Office Location.

Step 4

Once the attribute is selected, a subsequent section will appear below. Here, specify the related department, country, or office location to grant the user permission to oversee the designated area effectively.

By implementing these steps, you can ensure that Scoped Admins and Report Readers (they only have access to the Reports section within the admin center) have the necessary access to manage and supervise operations within their assigned country or location.

This localized approach enhances administrative efficiency, promotes effective decision-making, and facilitates streamlined operations at the regional level.

Note: Please keep in mind that to be able to use this function, there should be some department, office location, or country set as either a custom attribute in Teamflect or your Microsoft Azure AD environment. Beneficial Use Cases

  1. Localized Regulatory Compliance Management: Grant Scoped Admins country-specific access to facilitate efficient regulatory compliance management. This approach ensures that administrators possess the necessary authority to oversee and implement region-specific regulatory requirements, fostering adherence to local laws, policies, and industry standards.

  2. Geographically Targeted Operational Supervision: Empower Scoped Admins with location-specific access to facilitate targeted operational supervision. By assigning administrators to oversee specific office locations, you can ensure efficient management of site-specific operations, resources, and infrastructure, enabling streamlined coordination and resource allocation tailored to the needs of each location.

  3. Customized Regional Strategy Implementation: Leverage country- or location-specific access to enable Scoped Admins to execute tailored strategies at the regional level. By granting administrators the authority to manage operations based on specific geographic requirements, you can facilitate the implementation of customized marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and operational strategies that align with the unique characteristics and demands of each region.

  4. Enhanced Regional Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate improved communication and collaboration across different geographic locations by empowering Scoped Admins with the ability to oversee and coordinate regional teams. This approach fosters effective cross-location communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, promoting a unified approach to achieving organizational goals while acknowledging the diverse needs and challenges of each location.

  5. Efficient Resource Allocation and Management: Enable people to manage resources effectively by providing them with the authority to oversee resource allocation and utilization at specific locations. This approach ensures optimized resource management, including workforce allocation, equipment deployment, and budget allocation, leading to improved operational efficiency and cost-effective decision-making at the regional level.
