Overview
Teamflect allows you to assign country- or location-specific access (in addition to department-specific permissions) to administrators. This ensures that Scoped Admins and Report Readers can manage only the areas relevant to them, improving efficiency, compliance, and localized oversight.
⚠️ Note: To use this function, your organization must have attributes like Department, Office Location, or Country defined either in Teamflect custom attributes or your Microsoft Entra ID environment. For more details, see: Managing user attributes in Teamflect.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Access the Admin Center
Go to https://admin.teamflect.com.
Navigate to the Active Users section.
Step 2: Edit the User Role
Find the relevant user in the list.
In the Role column, click the pen icon to adjust their privileges.
Step 3: Assign a Role and Access Type
Choose either Scoped Administrator or Report Reader.
In the Access Type dropdown, select:
Department
Country
Office Location
Next, from the 'Access Type' dropdown list, select the desired attribute: Department, Country, or Office Location.
Step 4: Define the Scope
After selecting the access type, a new section will appear.
Specify the exact department, country, or office location to scope the user’s access.
Save changes to finalize.
By implementing these steps, you can ensure that Scoped Admins and Report Readers (they only have access to the Reports section within the admin center) have the necessary access to manage and supervise operations within their assigned country or location.
This localized approach enhances administrative efficiency, promotes effective decision-making, and facilitates streamlined operations at the regional level.
