Configuring and creating feedback templates in Teamflect results in several key outcomes. It allows for customizable feedback by tailoring templates to meet different organizational needs and aligning with specific processes and requirements. Enhanced flexibility is achieved through the ability to choose from various template types—Default, Official, Manager to Direct Report, Direct Report to Manager, and Self-assessment—enabling targeted feedback collection.

The structured feedback collection is facilitated by organizing templates with sections and various question types, including Freeform, Multiple choice, Rating, Ranking, and Likert Scale, which allows for comprehensive and varied feedback. Additionally, an improved user experience is provided as templates are visible within the Teamflect application, offering a streamlined and user-friendly interface for collecting and giving feedback.

Finally, efficient management is ensured as admins have control over the feedback templates, allowing them to update and manage options as organizational needs evolve.

To change the default feedback templates, please go to Teamflect Admin Center https://admin.teamflect.com

Find "Modules" on the left navigation bar and click the "Feedback" tab.

When the page opens, click "Feedback Templates".

When you click this button, you will see all the feedback templates that are available to your end-users.

You can either edit the existing ones or click the "+ Add new template" button, which is located at the top left of the screen, to create a new feedback template.

Click the "+ Add new template" button to create a new template. Once clicked, you will see a new pop-up window where you can enter the details about your new feedback template.

  1. Title

  2. Description

  3. Template Type

  4. Questions / Sections

Add a title. This title will be visible inside the Teamflect application, so it is a good idea to choose a self-explanatory name. The title you specified will appear as follows when the new feedback pop-up opens.

Add a description. This description will be visible inside the Teamflect application.

Choose the template type before proceeding to the next step. When you click the "Template type" drop-down option, you will see 5 different options. Your selection affects the template's visibility to your end users.

  1. Default: Feedback templates with this type will be available to everyone in your company.

  2. Official feedback: Templates of this type can only be given by Teamflect administrators. Non-administrator users will not see this template name as an option.

  3. Manager to direct report: Feedback templates with this type will only be visible if a manager chooses his or her direct report as the feedback receiver.

  4. Direct report to manager: Feedback templates of this type will only be visible if a direct report chooses his or her manager as the feedback receiver.

  5. Self-assessment: Feedback templates with this type will only be visible under the self-assessment option.

Once your selection is complete, you can start structuring your Feedback template by adding sections and/or questions to the template.

Multiple questions of various categories can be included inside a single section. To do so, use the "Add New Section" button:

If you don't want to divide it into different sections, simply continue by clicking the "Add new question" button to add a new question.

When you click the "Add new question" button, a new pop-up window will open, which will allow you to enter the question details.

Currently, Teamflect supports six different question types.

  1. Freeform

  2. Multiple choice

  3. Rating

  4. Ranking

  5. Likert Scale

  6. People Picker

From the boxes below, you can choose whether to allow more than one answer, whether it is mandatory to answer this question, and whether you want additional comments.

You can always add a new section to your question sets:

Click on "Add new section" to add the other sections. This will allow you to add new questions to the other sections included in your template:

After you finish adding all your questions, click "Create." Your new feedback template, "Internal Feedback Questions" in our example, will be visible inside the Teamflect application.
