What happens when I relate a task to a goal?

When you relate an existing task to a goal, Teamflect does not generate notifications.

When you relate a task to a goal, that task only starts appearing under the related goal so that you can easily see the tasks that you need to complete to achieve your goal.

You can also track goal progress based on relevant task statuses by enabling the “Measure goal progress from tasks” option.

Then select "Yes" in the window that opens.

Now your goal progress will be measured according to the completed tasks. For example; If there are 3 completed and 1 incomplete tasks involved, the target status will be 75%.

When tasks are linked to a goal, progress updates automatically based on task completion. This gives a clear view of how close the goal is to being achieved.

Relating tasks to goals helps ensure daily work supports larger objectives. It also makes it easier to prioritize the right tasks.

Since goal progress reflects task status, updates are more accurate and require less manual input—saving time during check-ins and reviews.
