In some cases, you may want reviews to focus only on high-level objectives rather than on every subgoal. Turning on the Include only parent goals option ensures managers and employees evaluate progress at the big-picture level without subgoal details.

  • Parent goals = main objectives

  • Subgoals = smaller, detailed targets that roll up into parent goals

How to Enable the Setting

STEP 1

In the Teamflect Admin Center (https://admin.teamflect.com), go to Modules > Reviews

Step 2

Select Review templates > + Create new template.

Step 3

In the template editor, find the Goal-related questions section on the left menu.

βœ… Once toggled ON, review cycles will display only parent goals. Subgoals will not be included in the review process.

Use Cases

  1. Performance Reviews for Executives
Focus discussions on strategic company or department-level objectives instead of detailed individual subgoals.

  2. Quarterly Reviews for Managers
Evaluate leadership performance based on department-wide parent goals, without diving into individual tasks.

  3. Annual Employee Reviews
Keep evaluations streamlined by assessing contributions to top-level business goals only.
