Admin Guide: Self-initiated Reviews Setting

Enable self-initiated reviews so employees can request feedback and choose reviewers.

Self-initiated reviews allow employees to start their own review requests and select a reviewer without waiting for an assigned review cycle. Enabling this setting gives employees more flexibility to request feedback when it is most relevant while helping HR teams support continuous performance conversations.

As an administrator, you can enable or disable this feature from the Reviews module settings in the Teamflect Admin Center.

Enable Self-Initiated Reviews

Step 1: Open the Reviews Module Settings

Go to the Teamflect Admin Center, select Modules, then click Reviews.

Step 2: Enable the Setting

Scroll to the Self-Initiated Reviews setting, turn on the Enable self-initiated reviews toggle.

Once enabled, employees can create review requests for themselves and choose who will review them.

How Employees Use Self-Initiated Reviews

Start a Self-Initiated Review

After the setting is enabled, employees navigate to Reviews from the Teamflect home page, click New Review, then select Review for myself.

Click 'New Review' then select 'Review for myself' to initiate a Self-initiated Reviews.

Employees can request feedback immediately after completing projects, presentations, or key milestones instead of waiting for formal review cycles.
