Teamflect empowers managers to access interactive Power BI reports built specifically from their teams’ data — directly inside the app! 🎯
Managers can better understand their team’s performance, engagement, and development trends without needing external dashboards or spreadsheets. Everything is available in one place, under My Team.
Why It Matters for HR and People Leaders
This feature gives HR teams and managers a shared source of truth for employee insights:
Empower your managers to make data-driven coaching and performance decisions.
Encourage ownership and accountability by letting managers visualize their own team data.
Save time for HR — no more manually sharing reports or running ad-hoc exports for every leader.
How to Access the Team Insights Report
Go to the My Team page
Log in to Teamflect and open the My Team tab on your Home page.Find the “Team Insights” card
Managers will see a new card that links directly to a Power BI report generated from their team’s data.Click the button to open your report
Once you click the View Reports button, you’ll be redirected to an embedded Power BI dashboard showing metrics like activity, goal progress, engagement, and feedback trends for your direct reports.
Scroll down to see more datasets and click through the tabs at the top to switch between module reports.
Availability
The Team Insights Report is available only on the Professional Plan.
Admins can enable or disable this feature from the Admin Center → General Settings → Team Insights section.
If the “Disable managers’ access to the private data of their direct reports” setting is turned on in the General Settings, Team Insights will automatically be turned off to respect data privacy settings.
Use AI to Summarize or Ask Questions About Any Module
Teamflect also includes an AI assistant that helps managers interpret their team data — starting with the Overview and Goals tabs of the Team Insights report. This functionality is being rolled out gradually, and additional modules will be supported over time.
What You Can Do Today
Inside the Overview and Goals pages, managers can:
• Generate an AI Summary
Receive a concise explanation of what the data indicates, such as:
Key trends in team activity or engagement
Goal progress patterns
Notable changes compared to previous periods
• Ask Questions About the Data
Managers can ask contextual questions related to the data displayed on those two tabs, such as:
“Which goals need the most attention right now?”
“Has overall goal progress improved this month?”
“Are there any performance risks highlighted in the Overview?”
The AI assistant interprets only the data the manager is permitted to see, following all existing privacy and permission rules.
Admin Controls
Admins can manage access to Team Insights reports through Admin Center > General Settings:
The Team Insights toggle appears under Settings → General Settings.
For Essential and Starter tenants, the toggle will be disabled.
When the “Disable managers’ access to the private data of their direct reports” setting is turned on, the Team Insights toggle automatically turns off to avoid privacy conflicts.
Important Notes
The Team Insights feature, including AI summaries and module Q&A, works consistently for all managers following the same permission logic as the rest of Teamflect.
Impersonation access respects all existing privacy and permission settings.
Turning off the feature in the Admin Center hides all related UI elements from managers.
In Summary
Team Insights Reports bring your performance and engagement data closer to where real conversations happen: between managers and their teams. By combining Teamflect’s collaboration tools with Power BI’s analytics, you can give leaders the clarity they need to coach, recognize, and support their people effectively.
