You can create tasks directly from within a review in Teamflect to help turn review outcomes into actionable work. This lets you assign follow-up tasks to yourself or others based on performance discussions, ensuring next steps are captured and tracked without leaving the review.
Step 1 – Open a Review
Go to the Reviews module and open an ongoing or completed review.
Step 2 – Locate the Tasks Section
Locate the “Tasks in this review” section in the right-hand sidebar.
Step 3 – Create a Task
Click “New Task.”
Step 4 – Review Task Details
A task window opens, displaying review details such as the reviewee's information, which is already filled in.
Step 5 – Save the Task
Save the task — it will now appear in both the sidebar and the Tasks module.
Note: The person who opens the modal is automatically assigned as the task owner, making it quick to create follow-up items such as approvals, development goals, or managerial tasks.
Use Cases
Post-Review Development Planning
After a performance review, a manager identifies a growth area. Using the “New Task” button, they assign the employee a task to complete a training course, ensuring development goals are clear and actionable.Follow-Up on Managerial Decisions
A decision is made during the review to adjust responsibilities. The reviewer creates a task to update the employee’s role description, ensuring the change is tracked and completed.Setting Milestones for Improvement
An employee commits to improving collaboration skills. The reviewer creates a task to schedule a peer feedback session in two weeks, keeping the plan measurable and on track.
Best Practice
Use tasks to bridge the gap between review conversations and ongoing development. Assign clear owners and deadlines so follow-up actions don’t get lost after the review ends.
