Overview
In Teamflect, administrators can automate the assignment of task groups. This makes it easy to assign specific tasks (e.g., Onboarding Tasks) to employees based on their hire date, ensuring consistency and saving time.
For example, you can automatically assign a set of tasks to employees who have completed a specific number of days since their hire date.
Steps to Set Up Automated Task Group Assignments
Step 1: Access the Tasks Module
Open the Tasks module within the Admin Center.
Step 2: Create or Select Task Group
Click Task Groups to either create a new task group or select an existing one you want to automate.
Step 3: Enable Automation
After creating or selecting the task group, click on the Automate button next to it.
Step 4: Configure Automation Settings
Adjust the following options:
After how many days from the hire date: Set when the tasks should be sent.
Only send to users who logged in: Ensures tasks are assigned only to active Teamflect users.
Select the hour: Choose the exact time tasks should be assigned.
Step 5: Create Automation
Click Create to activate the automation.
Step 6: Review Automation Rules
You’ll return to the Task Groups page where you can:
See the automation rules for that group
View or edit them
Permanently delete them if needed
