Overview
When launching review cycles in Teamflect, you may want to include only certain employees based on attributes such as department, location, or managerial status. Teamflect makes this easy with attribute filters.
You can now also filter by an employee’s most recent 9-Box evaluation, giving admins even more flexibility to target the right participants. This can be configured in your Teamflect Admin Center: https://admin.teamflect.com/
Steps to Filter Users by Attributes
Step 1: Select Reviewees
Begin the review cycle creation process.
When prompted to select reviewees, choose Filter users by attributes.
Step 2: Apply Filters
In the filtering window, you’ll see default options such as Department, Location, or Managerial Status.
Click the dropdown next to an attribute and select the desired value.
To apply more conditions, click Add filter and choose additional attributes.
Review the filtered list of users to confirm accuracy.
Step 3: Use the 9-Box Evaluation Filter (New)
A new filter option allows you to target employees based on their latest 9-Box evaluation results.
Available dropdown values are automatically pulled from your most recent organizational evaluations.
You can also select Not evaluated to include employees who haven’t yet been rated.
Note: This filter is always visible in filtering options and works independently of the profile display setting.
Step 4: Send Reviews
Once your filters are applied, complete the review cycle setup as usual.
Reviews will only be sent to the employees matching the selected attributes.
HR Use Cases
1. Department-Specific Reviews
Filter employees by department to run focused reviews for Sales, Marketing, or IT without including the entire organization.
2. Leadership Development Programs
Use the Managerial Status filter to evaluate managers or emerging leaders separately from general employees.
3. Succession Planning with 9-Box
Apply the 9-Box Evaluation filter to target high-potential or underperforming employees, aligning review cycles with succession planning initiatives.
