How to Use User Cards in Teamflect for Quick Access and Communication

Teamflect’s User Cards feature allows you to instantly view a colleague’s profile, availability, and contact options - all without needing to use the search bar. This time-saving feature enhances visibility and boosts team collaboration right within Microsoft Teams.

Step-by-Step: How to Use User Cards in Teamflect

Step 1: Enable User Cards

  • Go to the Teamflect app in Microsoft Teams (left-hand sidebar)

  • Click your profile picture on the Home Page to open ''My Settings''

  • Make sure the ''See presence information in Teamflect'' toggle is turned on

Step 2: Hover to Preview

  • Hover your mouse over a colleague’s profile picture

  • A small card will appear showing:

    • Name

    • Job title

    • Department

    • Direct Reports & Manager

    • Availability status (Available, Busy, In a call, or Offline)

    • Chat & Call Options

Step 3: View Full Profile

  • Click on “Go to profile” in the User Card window

  • You’ll be taken to the colleague’s full Teamflect profile

  • Access details like:

    • 1-on-1 meetings

    • Goals

    • Tasks

    • Notes and more

Step 4: Chat or Call Instantly

Within the User Card, click:

  • “Chat” to open a conversation

  • “Call” to initiate a Microsoft Teams call

💬 This eliminates the need to switch tabs or manually start a chat from Teams search.

Step 5: View Reporting Relationships

At the bottom of the User Card, you can view:

  • The colleague’s manager

  • Their direct reports, if applicable
