When creating a goal, you can select the "Private" option from the Visibility section to make that goal private.

Who Can See Private Goals

  • Creator of the goal

  • Owner of the goal

  • Goal owner's manager

  • Manager above in the reporting line

  • Teamflect Admins

Note: Private company goals will not be listed under the "Company goals" tab.

  • If it's private but a department goal, all the other people in the same department will be able to see it.

  • If it's a private goal but is associated with a Microsoft Teams channel, all the group members will have visibility.

To have all new goals/OKRs set as private by default, follow the guide: πŸ”— How to Make All Goals/OKRs Private by Default

Beneficial Use Cases:

  1. Managers: Control visibility of employee goals to ensure sensitive information is only accessible to the right people.

  2. Team Members: Keep individual performance goals private while still collaborating on shared team objectives.

  3. HR Professionals: Ensure that personal development goals remain confidential, fostering a safe space for growth within the company.
