As an administrator of Teamflect, you have the ability to customize the finalization flow of the review process.

Upon completion of the review process, you have the option to either directly finalize the review or alternatively, forward the review to the administrative team for calibration of the results. Upon completion of the calibration, the review will be finalized in accordance with established protocols.

  • The first step in calibrating reviews is to determine whether it is necessary. If the scores entered by the reviewer are aligned and accurate, there may not be a need for calibration.

  • However, if the scores are significantly different from other performance reviews, it may be necessary to calibrate the results to ensure a more accurate representation of the employee's performance.

  • If the review needs calibration, you can change the review flow within the Admin center and have it finalized after it has been calibrated.

To calibrate the scores, please go to Teamflect Admin Center https://admin.teamflect.com:

Step 1:

Find "Modules" on the left navigation bar and click the "Reviews" tab.

Step 2:

Click "Review Templates".

From here, you have the option to create a new Review Template:

Step 3:

After creating a new review template, once you reach the Finalization Flow, you will have the option to decide if you wish to enable Calibration:

If you select “Calibration On,” review results submitted by reviewers will first be sent to Teamflect Administrators for calibration. During this process, administrators can enter calibrated scores, and nothing will be visible to the reviewee until calibration is complete.

On the other hand, selecting “Calibration Off” will bypass the calibration step entirely, and the review results will be finalized as submitted.

Step 4:

After the administrators complete the calibration process, the different scenarios can be selected to take the review to the next step. These scenarios are:

  1. Review will be finalized by a calibration supervisor, reviewer and reviewee will see the calibrated results at the same time.

  2. Reviewers will NOT be able to edit the calibrated results. However, they will release the results to the reviewees themselves. This scenario is used when you want to give reviewers a chance to look at the final scores before discussing them with their direct reports.

  3. Review will be finalized by the reviewer. Reviewers will have a chance to change the calibrated results and release the review to the reviewee themselves.

  4. Then you can click on the "Summary & Test" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 5:

This is how the results section looks in the review before calibration. The reviewer evaluates employee performance and enters their scores in the relevant sections.

Then the reviewer submits the review for calibration.

  • Review is now in the calibration step.

  • In this step, the admin calibrates the results and finalizes the review according to the finalization scenario.

This is how the pre-calibrated and final results appear on the review screen while the results are being calibrated.
