Stay Informed When Managers Update Goals
Teamflect allows administrators to notify goal owners when their manager makes changes to their goals. This helps employees stay aware of updates made to their goals, particularly when managers have permission to edit goals owned by their direct reports.
Enable the Notification in the Admin Center
As the Teamflect Admin, you can enable the "Manager edited the goal" notification for your organization from the Admin Center: https://admin.teamflect.com/.
1. Access the Admin Center
Head over to the Teamflect Admin Center or click Admin Center from the top-right portion of the app.
2. Navigate to your Notification Settings
Once you're in the Admin Center, head over to Settings > Notification Settings:
3. Open the Goals Section
Under Notifications, you'll see the different sections/modules, locate Goals and expand the available goal-related notification settings.
4. Enable "Manager edited the goal"
Find Manager edited the goal and turn the toggle on. Once enabled, the goal owner will be notified when their manager makes changes to a goal they own.
What Does the Notification Look Like?
When a manager edits a goal owned by one of their direct reports, the goal owner will receive a notification informing them that their goal has been updated.
Personal Notification Settings
Users can also manage their own notification preferences from their personal notification settings. They can access these settings through the Settings button in the notification panel or through My Settings > Notifications. However, if the Manager edited the goal notification is Admin locked, users will not be able to turn it off themselves. To lock your organization's notification settings, you can check: How to Manage Organization-Wide Notification Settings in Teamflect
