There are two new notification types, plus improved logic for goals with multiple owners.
Notification for the Manager of the Goal Owner
When a goal is deleted, the manager of the goal owner will now receive a notification even if they did not create the goal.
Notification Message
Goal deleted – A goal owned by your direct report has been deleted by [Full Name].
Notification for the Goal Creator
When a goal is deleted, the goal creator will receive a notification even if they are not the goal owner.

Handling Multiple Goal Owners
When a goal has more than one owner, Teamflect now sends notifications in a flexible and context-aware way based on the owners' managers.
Scenario A: Owners have the same manager
The shared manager receives one notification.
Notification includes the name of the user who deleted the goal.
Scenario B: Owners have different managers
Each manager receives a notification.
Each notification specifies:
Who deleted the goal
Which direct report the deleted goal belonged to
Enabling Goal Deletion Notifications in the Admin Center
Step 1
Log in to your Teamflect account, click Admin Center in the top-right corner.
Step 2
In the Admin Center, open the Settings dropdown from the left-hand menu and select Notification Settings.
Step 3
On the Notifications settings page, scroll down to the Goals section dropdown. There, you’ll see the options to enable Goal Deleted, Direct report deleted a goal, and A goal you created has been deleted.

Use Cases
1. Manager Awareness During Reviews
Ensures managers are notified when goals are deleted, preventing gaps during performance evaluations.
2. Visibility for Goal Creators
Keeps creators informed if their goals are removed, helpful for HR, admins, or team leads who set goals for others.
3. Multi-Owner Goal Clarity
Avoids confusion in shared goals by notifying each owner’s manager when a deletion occurs.
