Overview
The Export Goals feature in Teamflect allows users to download goal data into a Microsoft Excel file based on the filters and selections applied in their current view. This makes it easier to analyze progress, share updates, or maintain offline records.
Depending on your role and enabled modules, the export options may vary slightly. This guide walks you through each scenario.
Before you start
Navigate to the Goals module in Teamflect
Apply any filters (such as period, status, or owner) to refine the data you want to export
Ensure you are in the correct tab (e.g., My Goals or My Team)

Step 2: Apply filters
You can narrow down your export parameters by using goal filters:
Goal period

Click the Export button in the top-right corner.
Step 4: Configure export settings
In addition to standard options, managers will see:

Exporting Goals Without the Tasks Module
If the Tasks module is disabled, the export experience will be slightly different:
The “Include related tasks” option will not appear
Goal data will still include:
Goal titles
Progress
Status
Labels
Owners (if applicable)
Notes:
Subgoals can still be included if selected
All applied filters will still reflect in the exported file
Additional Notes
The exported file reflects only the goals visible in your current view, based on filters and selections
Goals with subgoals will include aggregated progress where applicable
Exported data can be used for reporting, presentations, or external sharing
Use Cases
1. Sharing Goal Progress with Stakeholders
Export your goals to Excel to quickly share updates with stakeholders who may not have access to Teamflect. This is especially useful for leadership reviews or cross-functional reporting.
2. Analyzing Team Performance Offline
Managers can export team goals and use Excel to sort, filter, or create custom reports. This allows for deeper analysis, such as identifying trends in progress or tracking performance across different team members.
3. Creating Backup or Documentation
Users may want to keep a record of their goals at the end of a quarter or review cycle. Exporting goals ensures you have a snapshot of progress, statuses, and achievements saved externally.
Final Thoughts
Exporting goals in Teamflect is a quick and flexible way to analyze performance and share insights outside the platform. By applying the right filters and settings, you can generate highly customized reports tailored to your needs.
