Overview

Filtering and sorting lets you tailor the way your goals are shown so you can focus on what matters most. Using views, filters, and sort options helps you find specific goals quickly, review progress, and understand how individual and team goals relate to overall priorities.

Filtering and Sorting Options

Views

Using the List View, Feed View, User View, and Tree View buttons on the top-right corner, you can adjust how your Goals will be presented.

  • List View: Displays goals in a structured table format.

  • Feed View: Shows goals in a more visual, activity-feed style.

  • User View: Groups goals by owner, making it easier to track individual contributions.

  • Tree View: Displays goals in a hierarchy, showing parent goals and subgoals together. Ideal for organizations using multi-level OKR structures.

Date and Activity Filter

  • Filter goals by timeframes (quarters, half-years, full years, or custom ranges).

  • Filter by activity status or select “All goals” for a complete view.

Sorting Options

  • Sort goals by type, owner, label, progress, status, or end date.

  • Click once for ascending order, twice for descending, three times to reset.

Status Buttons

  • Use the Status buttons (top-right) to filter goals by their current progress state.

Drag and Drop

  • Manually rearrange goals by dragging them into the preferred order.

HR-Focused Use Cases

1. Staying Organized and Focused

HR and managers can use filters and sort options to prioritize critical goals by deadline, owner, or progress, ensuring that performance discussions focus on the most urgent objectives.

2. Visualizing Goal Hierarchies

The Tree View gives HR visibility into how company, departmental, and individual goals connect. This makes it easier to validate alignment and spot gaps in cascading OKR structures.

3. Optimizing Team Performance

Sorting and filtering by progress or status allows HR to identify stalled goals, highlight high-performing teams, and ensure overall alignment with organizational strategy.

Final Thoughts

By combining filters, sort options, and multiple views—including the Tree View—Teamflect gives HR and managers full flexibility in managing goals. This ensures visibility at every level, from big-picture company strategy down to individual contributions.
