Overview
Recurring talking points in Teamflect are agenda items that automatically reappear in every meeting within a recurring series (e.g., weekly or monthly check-ins). They ensure continuity by keeping long-term goals, follow-ups, and standing topics visible without needing to re-enter them each time.
This feature saves time and helps both managers and employees maintain focus on ongoing priorities.
What Are Recurring Talking Points?
They are agenda items set once and repeated in every future occurrence of a recurring meeting.
Perfect for tracking long-term goals, progress updates, or standard check-ins.
Only available in recurring meetings — not one-time sessions.
How to Add a Recurring Talking Point
Open your scheduled recurring meeting in Teamflect.
Scroll to the Talking Points section.
Add a new talking point.
Click the “Recur” button next to it to make it repeat across all future meetings in the series.
✅ That talking point will now appear automatically in all future meetings in that series.
Important Note:
You will only see the “Recur” button if:
The meeting is part of a recurring series (e.g., weekly or monthly)
One-time (non-recurring) meetings do not support recurring talking points
If you are the user who created the talking point
HR Use Cases
1. Track Development Conversations Over Time
Add recurring prompts like “Review progress on personal development goals” or “Discuss training completed this month.”
2. Standardize Manager Check-Ins
Use consistent prompts such as “Workload check-in,” “Roadblocks,” or “Team sentiment” to encourage uniform coaching across teams.
3. Support Probation and Performance Plans
Set up recurring talking points that help managers track key performance or behavior themes through structured follow-up.
Final Thoughts
Recurring talking points are a small but powerful way to turn recurring meetings into structured, purpose-driven conversations. By setting them once and having them appear automatically, managers and employees stay focused on what matters — week after week. HR teams should consider providing a default set of recurring talking points aligned with organizational values, performance cycles, or leadership principles.
