Teamflect's new feature called "User Cards" is a convenient feature that allows users to quickly access their colleagues' profiles, check their availability, and connect with them without having to go through the User Search bar. In this step-by-step article, we will guide you through the steps of using User Cards effectively.
Step 1: Accessing User Cards
To access User Cards, first, navigate to the "Teamflect" app on the left-hand side of your Microsoft Teams account and go to the ''User Settings'' by clicking your Teamflect profile picture. Please make sure that the user cards feature is enabled by clicking the toggling button as shown below.
Step 2: Using User Cards
To use User Cards, hover your mouse over the profile picture of the colleague you want to view. A small window will appear right under the picture displaying the colleague's name, job title, department, and availability status. The availability status could be available, busy, in a call, or offline.
Step 3: Viewing the Colleague's Profile
To view the colleague's full profile, click on ''Go to profile'' in the User Card window. This will take you to their profile page, where you can view more information about them, such as the 1-1 meetings, tasks, goals, and all the related information.
Step 4: Calling or Messaging the Colleague
To connect with the colleague through the User Card, you can either click on the "Chat" or "Call" button, depending on how you want to communicate with them. This will initiate a chat or call with the colleague, respectively.
Step 5: Viewing the Colleague's Direct Reports and Managers
Finally, colleagues' direct reports or managers will be seen at the bottom of the User Card window.
Teamflect's User Cards are a helpful feature that allows users to view colleagues' profiles, check their availability, and connect with them quickly. By following the steps outlined above, you can make the most of this feature and improve your communication and collaboration within your team.
