Teamflect lets you turn important discussions into action by creating goals right from a Teams chat. Instead of switching apps or losing momentum, you can start a new goal while you’re still talking with your teammate. This makes it easier to capture commitments, assign ownership, and begin tracking progress without breaking your workflow.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to launch the goal creation experience from a chat message, fill out the key details, and save the goal so it’s immediately visible and actionable in Teamflect.

Why Create Goals from a Chat?

Creating a goal directly from a Teams chat allows you to:

  • Capture action items while the discussion is still fresh

  • Reduce context switching between platforms

  • Assign ownership immediately

  • Keep goals aligned with ongoing conversations

  • Start tracking progress without delay

This is especially useful during project discussions, quick syncs, or when responsibilities are agreed upon informally in chat.
