You can disable the feature of sending new recognition within the company. You can use this feature for specific nomination situations or internal voting.
Step 1
To disable “new recognitions”, click on the "Admin Center" button in the left side menu of Teamflect.
Step 2
Find "Modules" on the left navigation bar and click the "Recognitions" tab.
Step 3
Here you can see the "Prevent sending new recognitions" button. If you activate this button, people in your company will not be able to see the "new recognition" button.
However, this does not affect the recognitions you have already sent. You can still see previously posted recognitions.
Here are some use cases for disabling the "new recognitions" feature:
Internal Voting or Awards: Temporarily disable recognitions to focus on specific internal awards or voting events without interference from other recognition activities.
Performance Reviews: Pause recognitions during performance review periods to ensure that reviews are based on documented performance metrics rather than recent recognitions.
Onboarding or Training Periods: Disable new recognitions during onboarding or training phases to ensure that new employees focus on learning their roles before receiving or giving recognition.
