Need more detailed logs?
The Activity Logs and Impersonation Logs available in the Admin Center are designed to provide admins with a clear overview of user activity. However, Teamflect also maintains more detailed system logs internally for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes.
If you're investigating a specific issue and need additional log details that aren't available in the Admin Center, please contact our support team at [email protected]. We'll review the relevant internal logs and help you troubleshoot the issue.
*Detailed on-demand logs are available upon request for Enterprise customers only.
Teamflect keeps activity logs so admins can review what's happening across the organization: who did what, and when. This includes both general Audit Logs and dedicated Impersonation Logs.
Retention: Logs display activity from the last 90 days. Activity older than 90 days is not retrievable from the Admin Center.
Activity Logs
Activity logs capture key actions taken across Teamflect's core modules, including:
Category | Logged Events |
Feedback | New feedback request, feedback request submitted, on-behalf feedback requests and submissions, instant feedback (public and private), self-assessment submitted |
Tasks | New task, task completed, task comment |
Recognition | New recognition sent |
Logins | First login, subsequent logins |
Focus (Relationships) | Added to Focus, Focus request accepted/rejected, Focus meeting frequency updated |
Goals | Goal created, commented on, closed, deleted |
Reviews | Review started, self-review submitted, review submitted, review finalized, test review sent |
Each entry includes the user involved, the action taken, and a timestamp.
Impersonation Logs
Impersonation Logs track every time an admin impersonates a user, for security and accountability. Each entry shows:
User being impersonated (name and email)
Impersonating admin (name and email)
Date and time of the impersonation session
Where to find it: Admin Center > Security > Impersonation Logs
Like activity logs, Impersonation Logs only display the last 90 days of activity.
Why the 90-Day Window?
The 90-day retention window balances giving admins enough visibility for troubleshooting, internal reviews, and compliance checks, without retaining activity data indefinitely. If you need records beyond this window for compliance purposes, reach out to us at [email protected] to discuss options.
Key Benefits
Troubleshooting: Quickly see what actions a user took leading up to reported issues.
Accountability: Maintain a clear audit trail of admin and user activity.
Compliance & Governance: Support internal reviews and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) with visibility into system activity.
