All goals are different from each other, and to cater to your needs, there are different goal measurement types that you can choose while you are creating a goal for yourself or someone else.

You can find different goal measurement types in the "New goal" or "Edit goal" pop-ups.

There are eight different goal measurement types you can select in Teamflect:

Reach-Percent, Reach-Number, Reach-Currency, Stay above, Stay below, Completed/Not Completed, Roll up from subgoal progress, and Roll up from task progress:

When you choose Reach, you will have the option to select from Percent, Currency, or Value as your metric to track progress.

If you select Stay Above or Stay Below, these options will allow you to set a target with an optional threshold. You'll see the threshold and target options under Stay Above or Stay Below to track whether your goal stays above or below the threshold value.

See some examples below:

  • Reach: "Increase monthly sales revenue." Initial: $10,000, Target: $20,000

  • Stay Above: "Maintain customer satisfaction score above 75%." Target: 80%, Threshold: 75%

  • Stay Below: "Keep customer response time under 24 hours." Target: 24 hours, Threshold: 30 hours

  • 0/1: "Complete quarterly project milestone." Yes, No

  • Roll-up from subgoal progress: "Improve team performance." Subgoal 1: "Complete team training," Subgoal 2: "Launch new product"

  • Roll-up from task progress: "Achieve project completion on time." Task 1: "Finalize project plan," Task 2: "Submit final report"

Note: When you select subgoal progress or task progress, you will not be able to set initial and target values, as the progress will be determined by the completion progress of the subgoals or tasks created and assigned accordingly. When a parent goal has two subgoals, completing the first subgoal at 50% will result in the parent goal being completed at 25%.

After you create the goal, you need to click "Add new" to create subgoals.

Here, you have two options: you can create a new goal as a subgoal, or you can select from the existing goals in your company's Teamflect account and connect them to your parent goal with a few clicks.

When selecting from existing goals in the company, you can easily filter the goals by title, owner, and goal type, and then select the desired goal from the search results.

When you select the goal and click ''Add'', you're good to go!

Or click the "Add" button to add new tasks that you will use to measure the goal's progress.
