Company goals are more inclusive than other goals and concern all employees in the company. For this reason, you can limit the number of people who will create a company goal.

Step 1

To change this setting, click on the "Admin Center" button in the left-side menu of Teamflect.

Step 2

Find "Modules" on the left navigation bar and click the "Goals" tab.

Step 3

Click on the ''Goal types'' option.

Step 4

Here, you will be able to see what goal types there are in your Teamflect account. Find the ''Company goal'' type and click on the ''Edit'' button to edit its usage by the end-users.

Step 5

Next, navigate to the ''Restrict who can add this goal:'' section on the edit screen and make sure it's toggled ON. Then, make the necessary changes from the following options:

  1. Self Assignable: Available to all users, but can only be assigned to oneself.

  2. Managers to their direct reports: Accessible to managers (people who have at least 1 direct report) to be assigned to the direct reports. Only Managers can assign these goals to their direct reports and direct reports have no usage of this goal to assign to other users.

  3. Scoped Admins to the employees in their scope: Restricted to Scoped Administrators to assign to people who are in their scope only (ex: department, location, division, etc.) The Scoped Administrator access type is determined by the User Roles.

  4. Global Admins: Only the Global Administrators will have access to use that goal and assign it to other employees.

Note: When done, someone who is not an admin in your company will not be able to see the "company goal" button when they create a new goal. Thus, these people cannot create a company goal.
